Recognizing KidSafe as a community partner in education, the Vancouver Board of Education has supported KidSafe since inception. They have been instrumental in offering elementary schools space for KidSafe programs, staffing support, and raising the awareness of KidSafe within our six elementary schools. All children who participate in KidSafe programs are referred through principals, teachers and youth and family workers.

For over 75 years, BGC has been giving children and youth something that every child deserves to have: a place to belong when they aren't at home or at school. It's a place that provides them with three of the things they need most: a sense of belonging, a sense of success, and positive relationships with adults and peers. Annually, BGC serves more than 8,000 children, youth, and families. BGC is proud to be a KidSafe Program Partner.
KidSafe has teamed up with the YMCA to collaborate on program ideas and provide activity leaders and site coordinators specifically trained to support KidSafe programs. These teams help oversee the KidSafe programs, supervise the children, and plan developmental daily activities and engaging outings.
